1965 Gibson Melody Maker, serial number 270527 in Cherry
All original bridge, electronics, plate, frets, orig. black strap buttons etc.
No breaks or fractures anywhere.
Kluson style single unit replacement tuners (not 3 on a strip like the original's would have been).
Finish heavily crazed with some scrapes on the back but all original and generally good condition, slightly faded on front, very cherry back, sides and neck
Very fine player with good balance and low action, no buzzes or rattles
All in all a very good example of a mid 60's Gibson.
Supplied with Non-original hard case.
I purchased this guitar from Steve Ellis (singer with the '60's band Love Affair (sang Everlasting Love). I believe he had owned it for a long time.
