Event Event Active Monitors Event SP Series
Event SP-6 The first time you listen to a pair of Studio Precision™ monitors, you'll almost surely shake your head in disbelief—then break out in a smile. We've seen it happen time and time again: People just can't believe that they're hearing a sound so big and so alive coming from direct field monitors. But your ears aren't deceiving you. Studio Precision monitors deliver a sound that's much wider, much deeper, much more defined, and packed with much more low-end punch than mere mortal direct field monitors. Simply put, they far exceed people's sonic expectations—and by a huge margin. The unique port design allows for exceptional low frequency coupling into the room, low distortion output, and superior low frequency transient response. And since the ports are front mounted, the speakers can be placed near walls without restricting the ports' air flow. So what's it all mean? In practical terms, it means that the Studio Precision monitors will reproduce percussive and bass instruments without introducing new overtones or artificially-hyped frequencies. Put another way: You get true, accurate, powerful low end. Specifications
