Dean V-79 Custom

The Dean V79 Custom is a 6-string electric guitar built to the original specs of the 1979 Dean electric guitars. 1979 was the classic period of Dean Guitars, with Dean electrics being played by some of the era's icon bands: Kansas, ZZ Top, Heart, The Doobie Brothers, Triumph, The Cars, Pantera, Iron Maiden, and Def Leppard. ZZ Top Eliminator was recorded with a Dean 79.

The Dean '79 series uses the Series 2 headstock, larger than the time capsule, and has the same look and feel as their predecessors of the seventies.
