The Ovation VXT Hybrid Guitar is the single ideal guitar for guitarists looking for maximum acoustic and electric versatility in a single instrument. Tonal diversity is what the Ovation Hybrid is all about. Pan from stunning acoustic guitar sounds to hard-driving electric guitar power chords with one fast turn of the output blend knob. The output blend is continuously variable so you can combine electric and acoustic sounds for individual mixtures and richly complex textures. With the included stereo cable the Ovation VXT output signals can be split for even more flexibility.
Electric guitar sounds are provided by two Seymour Duncan '59 humbucking pickups that deliver the power to cover a wide range of styles. The Ovation VXT Hybrid acoustic sounds are supplied by Ovation's Virtual Image Processing virtual microphone imaging preamp. This advanaced acoustic sound imaging technology enables guitarists to dial in natural, studio-quality acoustic sound with unlimited headroom and no worries about high gain causing feedback. The Ovation VIP Hybrid acoustic preamp is driven by a Fishman Power Bridge pickup for accurate acoustic attack without piezo distortion. The Ovation VXT features a solid spruce top, one-piece chambered mahogany body joined to aone-piece Honduras mahogany set neck with rosewood fietboard and pearl dot inlays. The Ovation VXT Hybrid back is sculpted for comfort and the body is extremely feedback-resistant, perfect for playing live. The Ovation VXT ships with an Ovation hardshell case.
