The Apple LOGIC STUDIO delivers everything a musician needs to write, record, edit, mix, and perform in the studio and on the stage. With three applications, instruments, effects, and a massive sound library, Logic Studio puts powerful music creation and production tools in one comprehensive package.

Logic Pro 8 is the center of Logic Studio, featuring a redesigned interface that makes it easier than ever to write, record, edit, and mix your music. The redesigned, single-window interface eliminates clutter and lets you focus on your music. Multi-take management and Quick Swipe Comping dramatically streamline the overdub process. Powerful audio editing features such as snap-to-transient, graphical time stretching, and sample-accurate editing in the Arrange window let you work faster and with greater precision. End-to-end surround production includes multichannel tracks, busses, and support for True Surround software instruments and effects. Logic Pro 8 now has XSKey-free operation, with a simple serial number replacing the USB dongle.

MainStage - Live from your Mac - is a revolutionary interface designed to let you bring software instruments and effects to the stage. Perform live with Studio Instruments, Studio Effects and audio unit plug-ins. Mainstage has a stunning 3D interface that provides just the information you need for your live show. From keyboards and drum pads to pedal boards and control surfaces, you can use any MIDI or USB controller with MainStage.

Soundtrack Pro 2 is the next wave in audio post. Powerful editing tools, surround mixing, and a streamlined interface simplify audio post production for film and video so you can focus on cinematic sound. Latest features include a single-window design that simplifies the process of creating great sound for picture. It includes professional tools designed for audio post-production that help you edit and mix faster than ever. Restoration features let you analyze and repair field-recorded dialogue and damaged recordings. Integration with Final Cut Studio makes it easy to work with Final Cut editors.

With the included Studio Instruments you can produce and play nearly any sound imaginable with the largest set of instrument plug-ins available in a single box. Instruments include Ultrabeat, a 25-voice drum machine with a built-in step sequencer, EXS24 Sampler - lets you play and design sampled instruments, Sculpture - the world’s most advanced component modeling instrument, Vintage Keyboards - fully modeled simulations of classic keyboards, Synths include an array of FM, subtractive, and analog-modeled synthesizers.

Studio Effects include vintage and modern compressors to distortion effects and amp models, 80 effect plug-ins that give you a wide range of ways to get creative with sound. The new multitap Delay Designer plug-in lets you explore creative delay effects in stereo or full surround. The Surround Space Designer helps you re-create the full reverberant qualities of some of the world’s most compelling spaces. The Studio Sound Library includes the complete content of five Jam Pack collections — Jam Pack 1, Remix Tools, Rhythm Section, Symphony Orchestra, and World Music — providing infinite possibilities for writing, producing, and performing your music. There are 18,000 royalty-free Apple Loops to help you establish a groove and embellish your music. 2400 professionally designed channel strip settings let you create finely tuned sounds. 1300 pristine-sounding EXS sampled instruments give you limitless creative freedom.
