The Ibanez AS73B is a stripped down, maple semi-hollowbody electric guitar for hard rock players.

The ground breaking semi-hollow Ibanez AS73B electric guitar is a jazz guitar for the serious hard rock player. Exposed coil humbucker pickups provide enhanced high-and low-end, and large frets make fast chord changes or blistering solos possible. The Ibanez AS73B is the guitar for gothic players or any genre of hard rock where you're ready to add in some distinctive hollow body electric sound.

The defining feature of the Ibanez AS73B semi-acoustic guitar is its internal sustain block, or sound block, onto which the pickups are mounted for increased sustain and feedback rejection.
