The Ibanez SR305 bass guitar has superb flexibility and affordability. The core Soundgear philosophy has not changed since its debut in 1987 : a modern 5-string bass for players who want a thin, fast neck, and the ability to dial in any tone for any genre-from complex electric jazz to raging metal. The 2008 Soundgear has continued this tradition while adding a modern flavour. The SR305-IPT has an agathis body, slim and fast five piece SR5 maple neck, a rosewood fingerboard and 24 medium frets. The B105 adjustable bridge keeps the tuning stability well. The Ibanez SR 305 also features Ibanez EXF pickups and onboard 3-band active eq with a useful Style Sweeper control. The Style Sweeper not only provides a variety in tone, but also practically controls the mid range for finger or slap, according to your playing style. The SR305 delivers all the quality you expect from Ibanez at a very affordable price.
