The Ibanez EWB30PDE Padauk Exotic Wood electro-acoustic bass guitar features a 34-inch scale length mahogany neck for clearer articulation than you get with the shorter scale necks found on most acoustic-electric basses.

The Ibanez Shape Shifter 3-band tone control preamp features a tone shaper that's much like the volume contour on your home stereo. However, instead of just an on-and-off switch, the tone shaper features a loudness contour control so you can precisely determine the level of the frequency boost to get the right sound. The Ibanez SST preampis designed to complement the Fishman Sonicore pickup, and offers quiet operation and features a phase reverse switch for reducing feedback. A separate battery compartment allows for easy battery changes.

In addition to the 1/4-inch output jack, the Ibanez EWB30PDE Padauk Exotic Wood electro-acoustic guitar features a balanced XLR for direct connection to the house PA system. Powered by easy-to-find AA batteries.
