The Blue Snowball is a USB direct-recording microphone from Blue's hip lineup of spherical mics. The Blue Snowball is designed for mobile laptop use and desktop studios with its universal drivers for Mac and Windows and built-in plug-and-play USB connectivity.

The Blue Snowball is an easy-to-use USB condenser microphone that captures unheard-of detail whether you're recording a band in a studio or an acoustic guitar in your living room. The Blue Snowball mic is ideal for podcasting as well. Plug-and-play the Blue Snowball microphone with your PC or Mac with no added software.

The Blue Snowball USB mic's versatility is achieved by its unique dual-capsule design, with one capsule tailored for vocals and the other for instruments.The Blue Snowball mic's 3-polar pattern switch allows you to choose from cardioid, cardioid with -10dB pad, and omnidirectional polar response patterns. The first position activates the cardioid capsule suited for a robust vocal sound. The second position engages a -10dB pad that's great for recording electric guitars. The third position activates both Snowball capsules to create an omnidirectional pattern, best for choirs and other widely dispersed sources. The dual-capsule design allows the Blue Snowball to handle anything you can throw at it, from soft vocals to loud garage bands.

The Blue Snowball USB mic bundle includes the Blue Snowball Kit, with a stylish tripod desk stand and a USB cable. So setting up your Blue Snowball will be fast and easy anywhere.
