Ovation has taken four of their most popular models, the Elite, Legend, Standard Elite and Standard Balladeer, and given them the full upgrade treatment. They're lighter, louder, richer and fuller. The new Ovation C2079-5 Custom Legend LX delivers a huge acoustic sound and a pure amplified character that makes it perfect for the stage and the studio.

The C2079LX-5 Custom Legend LX's smooth, hard composite Lyrachord GS body improves projection and reflects top vibrations better than traditional material and is now even lighter and stronger. The Ovation signature exotic wood leaf-shaped "epaulets" are now inlaid into the top with laser precision. The Custom Legend LX employs carbon fiber stabilizers to keep the fingerboard perfectly aligned at the neck/body joint.

The Ovation C2079LX-5 Custom Legend LX features Ovation's special patented pickup design with 6 separate elements sensing both string and top vibration, for a better string-to-string balance, regardless of string type or gauge. The new Op-Pro Preamp is voiced to providearena-sized sound with a minimum of EQ.
