DW 5500TD Hi-Hat Stand

DWs 5000 Series Hi-Hats are available with an extra heavy-duty 1.25in base and lighter weight 1in base in both 2 and 3-leg designs.

The 5500TD 2-leg and the 5500D 3-leg heavy-duty Hi-Hat Stands feature a ball bearing hinge and the unique bearing link connector, which connects the footboard chain to the pull rod, for reduced friction and increased sensitivity.

The new Lateral Cymbal Seat Adjustment utilizes a specially made nylon insert wing nut for easily adjusting the angle of the bottom cymbal, even while playing.

Integrated Memory Locks on all tube joints guarantee 100% repeatable precise height settings every time.

Swivel Legs allow easy positioning of bass drum pedals and other stands around the Hi-Hat Stand.

SM379 Locking Clutch is standard on all 5000 Series Hi-Hat Stands.

Folding Spring-Release Footboard
5500TD and 5500TL heavy-duty and lightweight stands now feature the patented Folding Spring-Release Footboard. The footboard assembly simply folds and slides upward in the slotted casting, releasing all tension on the spring, ensuring mechanical reliability night after night. The footboard is then compactly locked into place for transport.

Upper rods come standard in two lengths with all 5000 models, allowing you to customize the Hi-Hat Stand for your specific needs.
