Since the 1970s, Pete and Lynda Cornish have been making high quality musical instrument effects for many of the worlds most renowned bands (Pink Floyd, Paul McCartney, The Police, Queen, Jimmy Page, Lou Reed, Iron Maiden and Metallica, amongst others). The Pete Cornish name has become synonymous with trust, high quality, dependability, and noise free operation. Using only high quality screen cables, hand picked resistors and capacitors, Pete Cornish treats every pedal made as if it is for a world touring band. Every detail, however minor, is worked out to ensure compatibility with other effects, superior quality, and lasting use.

This is the ultimate in low noise, extreme distortion units; having a totally smooth decay, the latest addition to the Pete Cornish line of stand-alone effects units has a long history of preference by professional rock musicians as a vital part of their custom built Pete Cornish Effects Pedalboards and Rack Systems. The P-2 features a superior RFI rejecting input and bypass buffer stage feeding a discrete transistor overdriven multi-stage amplifier that has the carefully controlled gain structure required to create the upper harmonics needed by todays active rock musicians. The P-2s full, bright sound cuts through the mix effortlessly. This pedal was the recipient of the Editors Pick Award from Guitar Player Magazine.

The P-2 features huge amounts of gain and almost infinite sustain while remaining under complete control. The Pete Cornish P-2 offers wide range Sustain, Tone, and Volume controls and we recommend that you start with all controls in the centre position and make small adjustments as you play, not forgetting to adjust the Volume to match the bypassed level each time.
