Ovation's Applause AE-128 sunburst electro-acoustic guitar is a shallow bowl, single cutaway, electro-acoustic guitar with Ovation's superb quality OP4B pre-amp and transducer pick up. The Ovation Applause sound is typical of all Ovations. The warm acoustic guitar tones are combined with the pre-amp electronics to create the Ovation sound. Ovation's shallow bowl single cut-away acoustic body is much thinner than other electro-acoustics. For guitar players who need a smaller electro-acoustic body the light weight and comfortable single cutaway are perfect. The thinner shallow bowl reduces feedback during live stage work and the Ovation OP4B pre amp is great for recording.
