Samson Rubicon R5a

It has always been understood by industry professionals that Ribbon high frequency drivers are superior to cone-based drivers. A ribbon driver has virtually no mass. It adds no distortion; no resonant colour of its own. Simply put, they are completely neutral. Because of the wider dispersion pattern they offer, the listener also gets better stereo imaging. Samson Rubicon Monitors provide clean, accurate listening that is incredibly natural and life-like.

Monitors with ribbon HF drivers have always been prohibitively expensive. Until now. Samson are proud to introduce the Rubicon Series, active ribbon transducer studio monitors at affordable prices.

The Rubicon R5a matches the Samson ribbon HF driver with a 5" LF woofer providing 75W of power.
