We installed the prototype of our Tune-o-matic Powerbridge pickup on a classic flame top Les Paul, it became apparent from the first power chord, that this combination is destined for greatness.
The unique sonic contrast between the Powerbridge pickup and that classic Les Paul tone, made us realize that this may well be the definitive acoustic/electric guitar sound.
Note: A special "long-shaft" Powerchip circuit is available for Les Paul installations.
