Yamaha 12x5.5in Steel Snare

Steel shells have the brightest tone of our metal shell snare drums. The SD-2255 small diameter shell has a high pitch that pops but the 5.5in depth still has some body so the drum does not sound thin.

One-Piece Lugs
One-piece lugs allow high tension and added strength.

New B Type Snare Strainer
The B type strainer is a classic design that is simple and reliable.

Tom mount included
The SD-2255 includes a tom mount so that you can mount it from a cymbal or tom stand with an optional CL-940 ball clamp.
