Copper has a warmer, richer and deeper timbre than both steel and brass. These copper drums are suitable for many musical applications including sensitive concert work.

There are three different sized drums in the series, 14”x6.5”, 14”x5.5” and 14”x3”. The shells are seamless 1.2mm copper with a 1.8mm snare bed and 45 degree bearing edges. The two larger drums have shell strengthening centre beads. These two drums also have ten small square chromed lugs per head to maximise the shell’s resonance. The shallower drum is fitted with ten small one-piece chrome lugs.

The 2.3mm triple flange steel DynaHoops aid projection, add body to the sound and focus the tone. They also accommodate heavy playing while maintaining accurate tuning.

Our standard length 20-strand hi-carbon hardened steel snare is fitted to each drum. And for strainers, the larger drums have our G-type strainer release and B-type butt anchor while the 3” deep drum has the smaller, simple P-type release.
